All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#4 Safety Equipment MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Rope not tied to life saver. Provide rope with life saver. Corrected. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />#16 Water Clarity <br /> MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cannot see bottom; pool is closed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br />pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br />#29 Recirculation System Operation <br /> MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pump is not working according to management. Repair so recirculation system is functional and on <br />during operation. Pool is closed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water. (CCR 65525) <br />#7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cracks/Gaps and height difference between panels on deck. Grout or level out height difference to <br />prevent foot injury or tripping hazards. <br />Deck very dirty with mud and other debris. Clean. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide.
