1
Presto, Carol [EHD]
From:Augustine, Sean (Sean) <Sean.Augustine@7-11.com>
Sent:Tuesday, November 5, 2024 9:13 AM
To:Presto, Carol [EHD]; vinodbath1270@gmail.com; baha3001@7-11.com
Subject:RE: 1515 E Main St - HMBP, HW, UST Inspection Reports (38877)
Attachments:2024-10-30 13.23.27.pdf; WorkTicket 16066307912 20241029T195249Z.pdf;
P1390391.JPG; P1390395.JPG; P1390396.JPG; P1390397.JPG
Good morning Carol – Please see my responses below and the attached documentation.

UST Report
OBSERVATION: An approved copy of the response plan was not available for inspection. Only HMBP
Emergency Response/Contingency Plans were observed on site, no UST Response Plans.
Response plan placed onsite by DO. Copy attached.

OBSERVATION: The diesel fuel filter in dispenser 11/12 was observed to be leaking. The filter was observed
with a droplet collection at the bottom of the filter, indicating a leak in the primary containment.
Walton Engineering tech Ɵghtened filter and confirmed product Ɵght. Work order aƩached.

HMBP Report
OBSERVATION: The Hazardous Materials Inventory forms for carbon dioxide were not complete. The following
for carbon dioxide is inaccurate:
The single 53 gal CO2 tank onsite is cryogenic and therefore stored in below ambient temperature conditions
inside the cylinder, regardless of where the cylinder is stored onsite. This is the temperature we set for all
cryogenic CO2 tanks. Additionally, there are 2 Nitrogen tanks onsite that might’ve been mistaken for CO2 during
this inspection. Photos attached. I would like to ask that this violation be rescinded from the report. Please feel
free to reach out to discuss.

OBSERVATION: The site map is incomplete. The site map is missing a loading area for Carbon Dioxide.
The map has been updated to make a note of the CO2 Loading Area. CERS submitted 11/1.

With the submittal of this email, it is my understanding that all observations in your inspection report have been fully
addressed and corrected. If you require anything further, or have questions or concerns, please contact me as soon as
possible.

Thank you,

Sean Augustine
Environmental Compliance Specialist
949.761.2907 | Sean.Augustine@7-11.com

From: Augustine, Sean (Sean) <Sean.Augustine@7-11.com>
Sent: Thursday, October 24, 2024 9:29 AM
To: Presto, Carol [EHD] <cpresto@sjgov.org>; vinodbath1270@gmail.com; baha3001@7-11.com
