Site Health and Safety Plan Page 1
1. Introduction
This Health and Safety Plan (HASP) has been prepared to identify and address potential
health and safety concerns that may be encountered as a result of the investigation
activities at the Riverbank City Dump located in the City of Riverbank within San Joaquin
County, California (the "site"). This HASP will supplement the contractors’ general HASP for
site operations at this location.
The purpose of this HASP is to generally review anticipated hazards associated with project
tasks, environmental contaminants and potential exposure(s), and mechanisms prescribed
by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to aid in worker
health and safety.
2. Organizational Structure
This Site-Specific HASP describes lines of authority, responsibility, and communication as
they pertain to health and safety functions at this site. This also details key personnel
responsible for implementation of the HASP.
The contractor has responsibility for employees during work conducted, per this HASP. The
contractors are solely responsible for the safe and healthful performance of all work by each
of its employees and/or support personnel who may enter the closed site. The contractor
shall provide its own HASP as required by 29 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 1926.65.
Important Site contacts and telephone numbers are summarized in Table 1.
Table 1 Summary of Key Project Personnel
Title Name Cell Phone Email
Project Superintendent/
Project
Manager
TBD
Safety Coordinator TBD
Site Safety Officer TBD
