Date: 2/17/2026 <br /> Manufacturer training: OPW, 07/29/26 <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> NOTES <br /> On site inspection: <br /> -Verified 95%or less tank volume shut off for waste oil and soap tank. <br /> -Verified flapper functionality for waste oil and soap tank. <br /> -Verified ball float would not interfere with flapper functionality as it is located higher than the flapper in the soap tank. <br /> -Ball float could not be verified in the waste oil tank. The ball float location was unreachable. Verification that the ball float, if <br /> installed, does not interfere with the flapper valve still needed on waste oil tank. <br /> Facility is not approved to receive waste oil in the waste oil tank or soap in the soap tank prior to the EHD inspection and <br /> approval. <br /> Spill bucket corrosion protection verification was not scheduled with EHD prior to today's inspection. Concrete was already <br /> poured at the direct bury spill bucket on the soap tank not allowing a verification of the corrosion protection. Corrosion protection <br /> verification on the direct bury spill bucket and riser on the soap tank is still needed. Spill bucket corrosion protection verification <br /> on the bucket and riser on the soap tank must be scheduled prior to the spill bucket test. Concrete must be fully dried before <br /> conducting spill bucket test. <br /> Waste oil tank is not direct bury and did not have the spill bucket replaced. Only overfill drop tube was replaced on waste oil <br /> tank. <br /> OPW 71 SO drop tubes were installed in the waste oil and soap tank. OPW direct bury spill bucket was installed on the soap <br /> tank. Submitted documents for the permit was for Franklin Fueling Defender spill bucket and overfill prevention valve. <br /> Submit accurate scope of work, cut sheets, and certifications for what was installed. <br /> See approval letter dated November 19,2024 for more information.
