According to EHD records, the contents of this tank are <br /> currently E-85 fuel. <br /> This is potentially a violation of California Code of Regulations Title 23 section 2631.1 which reads, <br /> "Owners and operators must use an underground storage tank system made of or lined with <br /> materials that are compatible with the substance stored in the underground storage tank system." <br /> To address this issue, please immediately submit the following items to the EHD: <br /> 1. Installation date of tank #10180975-002. Per EHD records, the date listed on CERS of <br /> 8/5/88 is a piping inspection date, not a tank installation date. <br /> 2. UL listing for the exact tank model installed on site <br /> 3. Proof of E-85 compatibility for the specific model of tank being used <br /> Additional information regarding gasoline-ethanol blend compatibility can be found on the California <br /> State Water Resources Control Board website Technical UST Program Notifications page <br /> (https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/ust/tech notices.html). <br /> Please be aware that failure to adequately address this issue may result in violations and possible <br /> enforcement action.
