Per the reporting <br /> party,the odor event started around July 24-July 25,2025. Per Terminal Manager/Operator Juan Searcy,the facility <br /> was in the process of cleaning out one of the sumps. Per Juan the cleaning process was over a multiple day period. <br /> The EHD received notifications of evacuations and injuries that occurred due to the odor. The facility did not report the <br /> odor release to EHD and CalOES. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A release or threatened release of a hazardous material shall be verbally reported <br /> immediately to the EHD and CalOES. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Submit a written statement to EHD stating any future releases or threatened releases of a <br /> hazardous material will be reported immediately to the EHD and CalOES.
