12Copyright: Chart Industries, Inc., Jan. 2003 <br />V Operation and Troubleshooting <br />CO2 Storage Vessel <br />INDICATION POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION <br />Hissing sounds or <br />evidence of gas leak. <br />Normal for short periods of time from <br />some regulators and relief valves. <br />Observe leak, if it is not large and does not last <br /> long and occur frequently, no action is needed. <br />Large leaks from elsewhere in the system, <br />sustained leaks, or frequent leaks are not <br />normal. <br />1. See “Safety”. <br />2. Evacuate all personnel from affected areas. <br />3. Ventilate the area. <br />4. Call CO2 service agent. <br />Final line / gas use <br />pressure gauge (44) <br />indicates less than <br />90 psi. <br />Final line regulator (43) intentionally set <br />lower by beverage service agent. <br /> None <br />Final line regulator (43) not operating in <br />proper pressure range. <br /> Call CO2 service agent. <br />Final line pressure gauge (44) damaged <br />or faulty. <br /> Call CO2 service agent. <br />One or more of the causes listed in “no <br />CO2” or “fl at drinks” problem section. <br />1.
