(WSP) <br /> has prepared the enclosed 2019 Groundwater Interim Remedial Action Work Plan—Revision 3 for the <br /> UniFirst facility located at 819 North Hunter Street in Stockton, California. In 2011, UniFirst conducted <br /> a pilot test of in-situ bioremediation for chlorinated compounds in groundwater immediately <br /> downgradient of the site. The pilot test resulted in the concentrations of tetrachloroethylene and <br /> trichloroethylene in groundwater at the pilot test location generally declining over time. Recently, <br /> concentrations of these compounds have begun to rebound. <br /> WSP met with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) on January 19, <br /> 2023, to propose additional interim remedial actions for groundwater at the site. The RWQCB <br /> requested the 2019 Groundwater Interim Remedial Action Work Plan—Revision 2 be revised to <br /> include the installation of a new"C-Zone"well to be located in the sidewalk on the opposite side of <br /> East Poplar Street from the current MW-10 well cluster.
