2 of 2 Environmental Health Department Lovelace Transfer Station is a 15-acre existing transfer station located at 2323 Lovelace Road west of Union Road, north of Manteca. On September 13, 2024, the LEA received a Solid Waste Facility Permit package from the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works applying for a TPR amendment. The amendment proposes re-organizing stalls on the self-haul side to allow the smaller self- haul dump trailers to avoid the need to be directed to the comme rcial side during peak hours and the white goods to be processed either at the south end of the floor or outside in the south area utilized for metal recovery. The purpose of these changes is to improve overall efficiency and safety of staff. The EHD finds that the proposed change is exempt from the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), is consistent with the State Minimum Standards for Transfer/Processing Facilities and does not conflict with the terms and conditions of the SWFP. The EHD approved the amendment on September 23, 2024.
