The following is an itemized list of CP22- UST FULL violations that have not been <br /> addressed for ATEICHERT&SON INC*as of November 14,2025. <br /> Open violations from September 11,2025 inspection <br /> Violation#62-2030036-Overfill prevention system has not been overridden and meets overrill <br /> requirements(TCR 9b). <br /> OBSERVATION:The waste oil underground storage tank does not have an approved overfill prevention system. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All underground storage tanks shall be equipped with an overfill prevention system that <br /> does not allow for manual override and meets one of the following requirements: <br /> 1. Alert the transfer operator when the tank is 90 percent full by restricting the flow into the tank or triggering an <br /> audible and visual alarm;or <br /> 2. Restrict delivery of flow to the tank at least 30 minutes before the tank overfills,provided the restriction occurs <br /> when the tank is filled to no more than 95 percent of capacity;and activate an audible alarm at least five minutes <br /> before the tank overfills;or <br /> 3. Provide positive shut-oft of flow to the tank when the tank is filled to no more than 95 percent of capacity;or, <br /> 4. Provide positive shut-off of flow to the tank so that none of the fittings located on the top of the tank are exposed to <br /> product due to overfilling. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION:Immediately contact a properly licensed,trained,and certified contractor to install an <br /> approved overfill prevention system. Replacement of a mechanical flapper valve requires a permit and inspection by <br /> the EHD. If an external audio/visual alarm is replaced,provide a copy of the service receipt to the EHD.
