The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: No accumulation start date were observed <br />on the drums. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br />California Health & Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored on-site <br />greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are regulated as <br />hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting documentation to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br />CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3030030 - Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br />fire/explosion/release. <br />OBSERVATION: During the time of inspection, a large oily stain was observed under the 500 gallon diesel fuel station <br />that was not cleaned. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the stain. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br />Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 53 <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by June 27, 2025. <br />Wastes generated by this facility : <br />- Used oil <br />- Used metal fuel filters <br />- Used paper fuel filters <br />- Used floor sweeps/absorbents <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of <br />having them sign. Starting July 1, 2024, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD hourly rate ($172).
