A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per month , <br />less than one kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID numbers <br />are unique to a business and site location. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ to <br />obtain an ID number. Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 1 <br />CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(b and d) 3030009 - <100 kg/mth generator disposed of waste within 180 days of <br />accumulation start date (90 days for AHW). <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste has been stored on-site for a period of time that exceeds the limit. The waste is: <br />- Tank of Used Motor Oil has an accumulation start date of 6/30/2020, which exceeds the 180 day limit. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34(d) and California Health & Safety <br />code 25123.3(c) and 25123.3(h)(1)(C). <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste in compliance with Title 22 California Code of <br />Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting documentation to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 20 <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by May 30, 2025. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of <br />having them sign. Starting July 1, 2024, all in-office CERS help will be provided at the EHD hourly rate ($172).
