The SVE/AS test was performed to determine <br /> the feasibility of removing the contaminants of concern, which are TPHg and BTEX, from the <br /> subsurface the via specific methodologies. <br /> The test was performed on one well identified as vapor well(VW)VW-1 and one air sparge well <br /> IAS-1 (Figure 2). The 4-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) well utilized for the SVE component of <br /> the pilot test has a screen interval of 10 to 25 feet below ground surface(bgs). Based on flow rates <br /> and laboratory vapor sample results, the total extracted mass of TPHg and benzene were <br /> approximately 0.1 and 0.0 pounds,respectively,during the 8-hour test.
