Therefore, the addition of traffic <br />associated with the project would result in a less-than-significant impact on safety in the form <br />of queuing and sight distance. <br />d) Result in inadequate emergency access? <br />Less-than-Significant Impact <br />As shown by the operational analysis, the addition of project traffic to the study area would <br />increase intersection delays by less than one second per scenario and study intersection, with <br />most increases below one-half second. Furthermore, since all roadway users must yield the <br />right-of-way to emergency vehicles when using their sirens and lights, the added project- <br />generated traffic is expected to have a less-than-significant impact on emergency response. <br />Thus, project impacts would result in a less-than-significant impact on emergency access.
