(C)STATES IT SMELLS LIKE THE OCEAN. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040,& <br /> 116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public <br /> health and must he rorrerted immediately or he.cuhiert fn rinsure pursuant to Califnrnia Cnde of Renulations(Title 22)sertinn 6.5.54.5_ <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual Major <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chlorine level of the pool is 12.5ppm. Immediately reduce the chlorine level of the pool to the range of 1.0 <br /> to 10.0ppm or face closure. <br /> Corrected on site: Pool tech is on site and added fresh water. <br /> Chlorine level re-check is exactly 10.Oppm. <br /> Continue to maintain the chlorine level between 1-10ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools,when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br /> maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br /> cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas,wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br /> ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The fecal accident is not recorded on the operation record. Ensure all fecal accidents and vomit accidents <br /> (along with corrective actions taken)are noted on the operation record log. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH,and spa water temperature a minimum of once per <br /> day.Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm.
