The well will be constructed with 2" PVC pipe to a planned depth of 20 feet below ground <br /> surface using a hollow stem auger drill rig. The well construction details for the proposed well are <br /> provided in Attachment 1. <br /> All derived waste will be placed in a container, analyzed for contaminates and hauled off site by a <br /> certified waste hauler. The selected driller, Penecore Drilling is a C-57 certified environmental driller. <br /> Please find the enclosed well permit application package. Included in this application package are the <br /> following: <br /> • Attachment 1 —Well and Boring Permit Application for Rough and Ready Island including well <br /> construction table, map, Penecore Drilling C-57 license contractor declaration, and Site <br /> Mitigation Master File Record Information Form; <br /> • Attachment 2—2024 Groundwater Monitoring Work Plan; <br /> • Attachment 3—DTSC Conditional Approval for the Work Plan; <br /> • Attachment 4—CVRWQCB Approval for the Work Plan; and <br /> • Attachment 5 -Payment online in the amount of $688 ($516 for work plan review and $172 <br /> for the permit application). <br /> This work is scheduled to start on September I I' pending San Joaquin County approval of this permit <br /> and should be completed by the end of September.
