The Stockton City Cab Co case is located at 2085 East Fremont <br /> Street in Stockton(Site). <br /> In the Work Plan, Atlas proposes to advance 2 soil borings, 2 soil vapor borings and <br /> 2 cone penetrometer testing (CPT) borings and collect soil, soil gas and grab <br /> groundwater samples. Central Valley Water Board staff generally concur with Atlas's <br /> presented scope of work, provided the comments below are addressed. <br /> 1. In the Work Plan, Atlas proposes to advance CPT borings to approximately <br /> 90 feet below ground surface (ft bgs) and collect grab groundwater samples. <br /> Central Valley Water Board staff concur with collection of grab groundwater <br /> samples from approximately 90 ft bgs, however, an additional deeper grab <br /> groundwater sample is necessary to vertical delineate the area down-gradient of <br /> the release. The grab groundwater sample from CPT-1 at 88 ft bgs contained <br /> 170 micrograms per liter(ug/L) 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA).
