Mr. Brenden Kenny <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> March 7, 2022 <br /> Reporting <br /> Following completion of the proposed field activities, Arcadis will evaluate the data and prepare a summary of the <br /> results. A report will document the extraction well installation and hydraulic testing, SI results and will include the <br /> following: <br /> • Background and history. <br /> • A scaled site plan illustrating locations of the interim remedial action extraction well and piezometers, and SI <br /> soil borings/temporary soil vapor probes and temporary wells (if applicable), and other relevant site features. <br /> • Documentation of the remedial extraction well and piezometer installations, and interpretation of hydraulic <br /> testing activities. <br /> • Documentation of groundwater, soil vapor, and soil sampling. <br /> • Results of the laboratory analyses performed on the groundwater, soil vapor, and soil samples. <br /> • Analytical results posted on plan view and on cross-sectional view figures. <br /> • Determination of the potential source(s) and extent(s) of the VOC mass in groundwater and soil vapor <br /> beneath the CDCR property. <br /> Proposed Project Schedule <br /> Arcadis is prepared to direct activities following regulatory review and approval of this Work. Approximate <br /> timelines for each of the activities are as follows: <br /> • Pre-field activities, including permitting, subcontractor identification and selection, are anticipated to require <br /> approximately one month. <br /> • Remedial action groundwater extraction well and piezometer installations, and well development activities are <br /> anticipated to take 2-3 weeks to complete. <br /> • Hydraulic testing of the shallow water bearing zone is anticipated to take approximately 1 week to complete. <br /> • The Phase 1 SI activities, which includes groundwater and temporary vapor well installations and sampling, is <br /> anticipated to take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. <br /> • The additional phases of investigation are anticipated to take two weeks to a month to complete, with the level <br /> of effort and duration depending on the results of the Phase 1 SI. <br /> www.arcadis.com 8/9 <br />
