The monitoring wells are screened in first encountered groundwater at depths of over <br />200 feet. <br />1.1.6 Surface Water / Stormwater Management System. <br />The FSL surface water / stormwater management system is comprised of the perimeter collection ditches <br />located around LF-1 and LF-2 that collect and route surface water around and away from the landfill, three <br />sedimentation basins that retain collected surface water runoff from LF-1 and LF-2, and a pond located <br />southeast of Module 2B (LF-2) that is fed from a seasonal stream and from the three sedimentation basins. <br />Surface water monitoring is performed at monitoring points SW-1 through SW-5, and stormwater <br />monitoring is performed at monitoring points ST-2 through ST-5. <br />
