All rights reserved. <br /> <br />7.0 GROUNDWATER DIRECTION AND FLOW RATE <br />Groundwater elevations were measured in monitoring wells during the first and second quarters <br />(Figures 3 and 4). Groundwater flow direction is toward the south. The calculated average linear <br />groundwater flow velocity during first and second quarters was 67.3 feet per year (ft/yr) based <br />on a hydraulic gradient of 0.002 foot per foot (ft/ft) (Appendix F).
