Please note the following Fire Department review comments and conditions for the <br /> subject application: <br /> • The building is presently not protected with fire sprinklers. The applicant needs to be informed that if the <br /> church assembly can have an occupant load of 300 persons or more,the building will require fire sprinklers. <br /> • The same applies with the fire alarm system. If the occupant load is 300 or more persons,the building will also <br /> require a fire alarm system. <br /> • If required,fire sprinkler and fire alarm plans will be deferred submittals to the Stockton Fire Department. <br /> • The Stockton Fire Department will also require review of the building permit submittal. Please have the <br /> applicant contact our office to get directions on how they can submit the project electronically or in person. <br /> • Once the building is granted a Certificate of Occupancy for the change of use, an operational fire permit will be <br /> issued for Place of Assembly. <br /> • All other code requirements will be addressed upon time of building permit submittal. <br /> Contact me if there are any other questions.
