SAN J OAQ U I N AMENDED Environmental Health Department <br /> _ 9/8/2025 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Intermodal 1 13730 E MUNFORD AVE, STOCKTON July 22, 2025 <br /> 48 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3010022 - Posted emergency information next to the telephone <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas <br /> directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of <br /> the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the modified contingency plan information on-site. Provide a statement to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 49 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3030039 - Emergency coordinator on the premises or on call <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan with an assigned emergency coordinator was not posted at the <br /> facility. <br /> -Accountant Linda Jimenez stated that there is not currently an assigned Emergency Coordinator. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that arise. <br /> The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in the <br /> generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the fire department <br /> unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 53 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3030030 - Maintains and operates the facility to minimize the possibility of <br /> fire/explosion/release <br /> OBSERVATION: Diesel staining was observed throughout the facility. Additionally, both the aboveground storage tank <br /> diesel fuel hose and diesel fuel filter were found to be leaking. Lastly, the air compressor was found to be leaking an oily <br /> substance. Underneath the compressor, absorbent material was spread out to capture the leak. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste <br /> constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean all diesel staining and spills. Also, Immediately fix the leaking diesel fuel <br /> hose, diesel fuel filter and leaking compressor. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for <br /> hazardous waste.
