<br /> <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill Page 16 of 52 San Joaquin County DPW - Solid Waste <br />Joint Technical Document Revised 01/05/2026 <br /> <br />There are eight (8) wells on the property. These include a domestic well and seven (7) <br />groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> <br />4.11. Ancillary and Other Site Facilities <br />The ancillary facilities associated with the landfill (Figure 2) are: <br /> <br />Scale house <br />Perimeter and internal access roads <br />Maintenance building <br />Former residential structures, converted for breakroom and restroom use <br /> <br />Portable diesel fuel storage tank, normally placed near the active phase and <br />inside the lined area of the module <br />Universal Waste Storage Bins: <br />Electronic wastes and appliances are stored in separate enclosed storage bins <br />placed approximately 500 feet from the active face unloading area. Size of the storage <br />bins vary from 20 to 40 cubic yards. Computer screens are kept separately in non- <br />enclosed storage bins provided by the County. Universal waste storage bins are <br />removed to a County-owned facility when full and replaced with an empty bin. <br />Hazardous Materials Storage Cabinet: <br />A hazardous materials storage cabinet is placed near the universal waste <br />storage bins, and the contents regularly removed to a County-owned facility. <br /> <br />5. FACILITIES DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARD <br /> <br />5.1. Design Standards <br />LF-2, Module 2, the current active module meets, and all future modules will meet, <br />CCR Title 27 and Subtitle D regulations. <br /> <br />5.2.
