Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill (39-AA-0004) <br /> 1/29/2026 <br /> 5. Tarps and soil used for cover. <br /> 6. Personnel were observed wearing PPE. One spotter was directing traffic. Compactor and <br /> dozer in operation. <br /> 7. No dust due to moist soil conditions. No odor observed. <br /> 8. No litter observed off-site. Minimal litter observed on-site. Litter crew working on-site <br /> during inspection. <br /> 9. Landfill gas wells SG-119 and 120 were measured during the inspection. 0.0% methane <br /> was found in all probes in both wells. See attached log for complete measurements and <br /> calibration. <br /> 10. Daily occurrences log, daily tons, daily vehicle counts, training record and load check <br /> record documents were reviewed and are up to date. <br /> 11. As of January 10, 2026, the site operator San Joaquin County stopped acceptance of <br /> waste on Saturdays and also does not accept public self-haul customers. Public self-haul <br /> customers are directed to other County owned sites. Acceptance of waste will be Monday - <br /> Friday, 7 am - 5 pm from contracted commercial haulers only.
