Good morning, <br /> Attached are the initial checklists for the attempted Hazardous Material Business Plan <br /> (HMBP) and Small Quantity Generator Hazardous Waste (SQG HW) closure inspections <br /> conducted at 1449 W. March Ln. on 6/27/25. Also attached are guidance documents on <br /> general requirements for hazardous waste generators and guidance for non-saleable <br /> hazardous merchandise. <br /> The permits for this facility cannot be closed at this time due to the large quantity of <br /> products and waste observed remaining on site.The products include but are not limited <br /> to three 5-gallon buckets of paint and multiple pallets containing cleaning products, <br /> cosmetic products, and totes of stickered items stored individually in clear plastic bags <br /> marked "Hazardous Waste".The totes of hazardous waste bags were observed next to a <br /> red binder labeled "Hazardous Waste Management". <br /> Please be advised that the disposal of anywaste [HSC 5411] or disposal of any hazardous <br /> waste, or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is at a facility that is not <br /> permitted or unauthorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC 25189.5(a).]. Please be <br /> aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under appropriate hazardous waste <br /> manifesting procedure [HSC 25160(b)(3)].
