Post-Procedure Care Instructions <br /> Care of the Procedure Site <br /> • Keep the treated area clean and dry at all times. <br /> • Gently cleanse the area as instructed by your provider using clean hands and a mild,fragrance free cleanser. <br /> • Pat dry with a clean disposable towel;do not rub or scrub. <br /> • Apply the recommended aftercare ointment sparingly,as directed. <br /> • Do not pick,scratch,or remove f aking or scabs, as this may cause infection,pigment loss,or scarring. <br /> • Avoid applying makeup,skincare products, or topical medications to the treated area unless specifically approved by <br /> your provider. <br /> Activity Restrictions <br /> To reduce the risk of infection and ensure proper healing,please follow these restrictions: <br /> • Bathing:Avoid soaking the treated area(no baths,hot tubs,swimming pools, lakes,oceans, or saunas)for 7-14 days <br /> or until fully healed.Showering is permitted if the area is protected and not exposed to direct water spray. <br /> • Recreational Water Activities:Avoid swimming and water sports for at least 14 days. <br /> • Physical Activities:Avoid excessive sweating,strenuous exercise,and activities that cause friction to the area for 7-10 <br /> days. <br /> • Gardening and Dirty Environments:Avoid gardening,yard work,or exposure to dirt and dust for 7-10 days. <br /> • Contact with Animals:Avoid direct contact between the treated area and animals(including pets)for 7-10 days to <br /> reduce exposure to bacteria. <br /> Signs and Symptoms of Infection <br /> Monitor the procedure site closely. Contact a healthcare provider promptly if you experience any of the following signs or <br /> Symptoms of infection: <br /> • Increasing redness,swelling,or tenderness at the procedure site <br /> • Warmth or worsening pain around the area <br /> • Red streaks extending from the procedure site toward the heart <br /> • Elevated body temperature or fever <br /> • Yellow,green, or foul-smelling(purulent)drainage from the site <br /> • Excessive swelling or delayed healing beyond expected timelines <br /> *If you suspect an infection or have concerns about healiniz,seek medical attention immediately. <br /> ----THANK YOU--- <br />
