Responsibilities: <br />ORGANIZATIONAL CHART <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Emergency Site Coordinator (ESC): <br /> <br />He/she approves the Worksite Emergency Plan (WEP). He/she <br />designates the Assistant Emergency Site Coordinator. Evaluates work <br />performed by the Assistant Emergency Site Coordinator. In case of a <br />major emergency, directs all emergency actions and contacts other <br />Department of Public Works Emergency Coordinators. Bill Baier is the <br />Emergency Site Coordinator for the Foothill Sanitary Landfill (FHSL). He <br />can be contacted at (209) 953-7158, Monday through Friday from 6:00 <br />a.m. to 2:30 p.m. His 24-hour cellular telephone number is (209) 605- <br />2500. After hours and on weekends, he can also be reached by <br />contacting the Department of Public Works Watchman at (209) 468-3074. <br /> <br />2. Assistant Emergency Site Coordinator (AESC). <br /> <br />Assists the Emergency Site coordinator, performs the Coordinator’s duties <br />in his/her absence, writes and implements the WEP. <br /> <br />Updates the WEP; assures employee safety by conducting safety <br />meetings at biweekly intervals; maintains safety records, including <br />worksite inspections, looking for safety hazards; and inspects fire <br />extinguishers for proper pressures. AESC is familiar with location of all <br />fire extinguishers and building exit doors. He/she trains employees to
