The Eastern GSA <br /> Subarea poses no significant threat to public health or the environment and, therefore is ready for <br /> deletion Gom the NET. However, DOE will not petition for formal deletion from the NPL until <br /> the entire GSA OG in which the Eastern GSA Subarea is contained or all of LLNI . Site 300 is <br /> ready for deletion. This report will, however, serve as formal documentation or DOI. and <br /> regulatory agency concurrence that remediation in the Eastern GSA Subarea is complete, and that <br /> ME may proceed with the post-completion activities desci ild in Section 9 below. <br /> 9. Post-Completion Activities <br /> In eebreary 2012 the regulatory agencies agreed that cleanup of the Eastern GSA was <br /> completed, monitoring and reporting could cease, and that close out documentation should be <br /> completed. <br /> With regulatory concurrence, monitoring and maintenance of the Eastern GSA c#raction and <br /> number wells were discontinued in the second quarter of2012, with the exception of several wells <br /> that am used for other purposes (i.e., monitoring of the Central USA VOC plume and/or for the <br /> Central GSA sewage treatment pond permit complian( e). <br />
