The Eastern GSA Subarea poses no significant threat to public health or the environment and, therefore is ready for deletion Gom the NET. However, DOE will not petition for formal deletion from the NPL until the entire GSA OG in which the Eastern GSA Subarea is contained or all of LLNI . Site 300 is ready for deletion. This report will, however, serve as formal documentation or DOI. and regulatory agency concurrence that remediation in the Eastern GSA Subarea is complete, and that ME may proceed with the post-completion activities desci ild in Section 9 below. 9. Post-Completion Activities In eebreary 2012 the regulatory agencies agreed that cleanup of the Eastern GSA was completed, monitoring and reporting could cease, and that close out documentation should be completed. With regulatory concurrence, monitoring and maintenance of the Eastern GSA c#raction and number wells were discontinued in the second quarter of2012, with the exception of several wells that am used for other purposes (i.e., monitoring of the Central USA VOC plume and/or for the Central GSA sewage treatment pond permit complian( e).
