I am the non-057 consultant for this project. We wish to transfer the
SJCEHD Permit #WP0044766 (Attachment 2) that originally identified the C57 permit
holder as Cal-Nev Geo Exploration, Inc., Roseville, California (C57 license #1039188)
to Krazan and Associates Inc., Clovis, California (C57 license #499908).
This project is part of an ongoing soil and groundwater environmental investigation at
521 North Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California with the primary regulatory agency directing
our investigative work being the California Regional Water Quality Control Board,
Rancho Cordova, California.
A drilling permit application was submitted to SJCEHD in early August, 2023 to drill
and complete a single groundwater monitoring well (PT-MW10) at the Parmar Texaco
site located at 521 North Cherokee Lane in Lodi. SJCEHD issued Permit
#WP0044766 on August 18, 2023. As required by the SJCEHD permit we submitted an
encroachment permit application to the City of Lodi, Public Works Department during
early September, 2023. Lodi Public Works issued Encroachment Permit #PW2023-
0199 on December 18, 2023 (Attachment 3).
We notified Cal-Nev Geo Exploration, Inc. on December 20, 2023 that we were ready
to proceed with the project. On December 21, 2023 Cal-Nev Geo Exploration informed
us that they were going out of business (Attachment 4).
