The tank manufacturer will certify the tank for its intended use prior to
bringing the tank back into service.
7. Unauthorized releases to the interstitial space between primary and secondary containment will
be removed in accordance with procedures specified by the tank manufacturer. The equipment
required to accomplish this task will be designated and provided pursuant to the tank
manufacturer's recommendation.
8. All hazardous materials and contaminated waste generated by the repair activities will be
properly handled, transported, and disposed in accordance with all appropriate State and Local
Regulations.
9. The interstitial monitoring system will be activated and certified prior to bringing the UST system
back into service.
Questions regarding this response plan should be directed to, Martin Hilfinger, Vice President of
Environmental Affairs at (508-270-4444).
