Clean Earth Environmental HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM 8 CESQG PROCEDURES(Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator) The CESQG Program will be operated as follows: • All CESQGs will be serviced by appointment. CESQGs will schedule an appointment by calling a toll free number(1-800-207-8222). Clean Earth will respond to requests for appointments within 24 hours. • Each CESQG wishing to participate in the program will be required to present an inventory of their hazardous wastes to Clean Earth at least two days prior to the collection event. • The CESQG inventories will be reviewed for acceptance and verified that the business is operated in the County of San Joaquin. • Upon acceptance,the businesses will be assigned an appointment time for delivery of the waste to the collection site. • Wastes from CESQGs will be accepted between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the Friday preceding the HHW event. • Clean Earth will not allow any CESQGs to transport more than 100 kilograms(27 gallons or 220 Ibs)of hazardous waste not including latex paint, motor oil and Universal Waste. • Upon arrival of the CESQG,the unloading technician will verify that the participant's waste matches their waste inventory. • All participating CESQGs will be required to sign an affidavit verifying that they are in fact Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators as defined by Section 25218.1 of the H&SC. • Disposal fees will be accepted from the CESQG and a receipt will be provided, documenting the CESQG's identifying information,type and quantity of waste collected, ands fees collected. 9 WASTE REMOVAL AND SITE DECONTAMINATION All waste will be removed from the site by 20:00 pm the day of the collection. The site will be left in a condition equal to or exceeding pre-event conditions. 10 TRAINING DOCUMENTS Written job descriptions and requisites.
