Clean Earth Environmental <br /> HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> Report the Emergency to the Command Post <br /> 1) Senior person present will take charge of the situation <br /> 2) Notify all personnel that an emergency condition exists by facility alarms(if applicable), air horn, <br /> voice command and/or two-way radio and notify 911 immediately to dispatch the City of Lodi Fire <br /> Department. "This is the Site Safety Officer, (state name of person making the initial call), at the <br /> Central Valley Waste transfer station, 1333 E Turner Rd in Lodi. We have an EMERGENCY." <br /> Personnel Related: <br /> Clean Earth will have a number of company and staff vehicles on site to transport any persons needing medical <br /> attention. In the event of a serious accident or injury, 911 will be notified and their instructions will be followed. <br /> • Report Number of People Injured and Type of Injury <br /> • Give Location of Accident <br /> • Give cause of Injury(Vehicular, Fall,Opening Container, etc.) <br /> Spill/Emission: <br /> • Type and Quantity of Material Spilled <br /> • Give Location <br /> • Immediate Health Threat and Response <br /> On Site Actions after the Report <br /> • The senior person will control the situation to the best of his/her abilities until assistance arrives. Use all <br /> available safety equipment(first aid kit,fire extinguishers,shovels, hand tools,absorbent, etc.). <br /> • Remain on the scene, or as close as safely possible, until assistance arrives and provide the required <br /> information to response crews. <br /> • Account for all assigned personnel. <br /> Command Post Response <br /> 1) Call 911 for <br /> ALL fires. <br /> ALL injuries of a serious nature. <br /> ALL premature explosive detonations. <br /> ALL large spills. <br /> 2) Contact the Safety Officer for all injuries, in addition to 911 (serious injuries). <br /> 3) Contact the Project Supervisor, Project Safety Officer and Project Manager, as soon as <br /> possible,with all available information. <br /> 10 <br />
