Environmental Health Department <br />AMENDED <br />12/2/2025 <br />CP22 - HW LQG Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />November 05, 2025 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 805 S LOCUST AVE, RIPON <br /> Facility Name: <br /> CALIFORNIA FREIGHT <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br />CA Code of Regulations 66265.33 3030035 - Tests and maintains all required safety equipment at the facility . <br />OBSERVATION: The overfill alert gauge sensor on the 275 gallon Delo 400 XLE SB Sae 15W-40 oil was observed to <br />be broken. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the overfill alert gauge sensor into proper working order by repair, replacement or <br />testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 <br />days. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 63 <br />CA Code of Regulations 66273.34 3030008 - UWH labeled all universal waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The facility has not labeled their universal waste (UW) as required by this section. The following <br />universal waste was observed on-site with incomplete labeling: One 55 gallon drum of aerosol cans observed in the <br />hazardous waste storage area was not observed with a universal waste label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.34 Labeling/Marking <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the UW as required by this section. Various UW can be appropriately <br />labeled: "Universal Waste - Batteries", “Universal Waste -Mercury-Containing Equipment”, “Universal Waste-Lamps” or <br />“Universal Waste -Electronic Devices”. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is (Minor) Violation. <br /> 71 <br />CA Code of Regulations 66273.36 3020003 - UWH complied with all universal waste training requirements. <br />OBSERVATION: The facility could not provide an annual training record or description of training for all of the facility <br />personnel who manage universal waste. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.36 Personnel Training <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide employees with UW training in the detail required by this section. <br />Generate a training record with a list of trained employees and the date of training.
