Hazardous waste containers were observed with no accumulation start dates. Labels are <br />observed on the hazardous waste containers are posted by the Hazardous Waste Hauler without accumulation start <br />date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br />waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br />emergencies. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br />This is (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 2 <br />CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(f) 3030007 - Labeled all containers or portable tanks containing hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br />1- One 55 gallon drums that contain paper fuel filters is observed without accumulations start date. <br />2- One 55 gallon drum of Oily absorbent is observed without accumulations start date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br />“Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br />accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action <br />statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within <br />30 days. <br />This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 23 <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Conducted a Hazardous Waste inspection . There were two violations during the inspection.
