At least for now. I spoke with the Owner of A Street Kitchen and she was <br /> hesitant to meet jointly w/myself and Psych-Ko's, as she said she doesn't get involved with the businesses that rent from <br /> her. I will be forward outreach info to her since she needs to be aware of USDA regulations too. I left a voicemail earlier <br /> this week for Psych-Ko's to set up a day and time to meet them at A Street Kitchen to learn more about all that they're <br /> doing and educate them on USDA regulations, including exemptions from the regulations. But I have not gotten a call <br /> back. I will try both phone numbers I have for them again either tomorrow or early next week. <br /> If you are still going to the farmers market this weekend, could you let them know that we've been in touch and that <br /> they should call me back, and please let me know how it goes? I still need to confirm their meat/poultry products are <br /> from approved sources, and what businesses they're selling to if any (since they cannot sell the meat/poultry products <br /> wholesale without being under USDA/Federal inspection). From what is known about their business, it sounds like they <br /> should also be permitted by CDFA for producing jerky products for retail sales.
