Portable Powered Tools <br /> You are responsible for inspecting any tool prior to use. Inspect for any damage to the tool that <br /> could lead to any potential safety hazard. Safety guards must be always in place prior and <br /> during use. <br /> If a tool is found unsafe to operate, please inform your supervisor. The tool must be removed <br /> from service. <br /> Be sure to use all portable tools only as intended by the manufacturer. <br /> PPE: Employees using hand and power tools and exposed to the hazard of falling, flying, <br /> abrasive, and splashing objects, or exposed to harmful dusts, fumes, mists, vapors, or gases <br /> shall use the personal protective equipment necessary to protect them from the hazard. <br /> Compressed Air: Compressed Air shall not be used for cleaning purposes except where reduced <br /> to less than 30 PSI and only when effective chip guarding and PPE equipment is used. <br />�� d <br />
