COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />12:50 pm <br />12:33 pm <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: Date: 08/14/2023 <br />Address: 2517 E FREMONT ST, STOCKTON <br />Owner/Operator: Telephone: <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0055980 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />FACILITY IS SELLING PREPACKAGED FOOD AND DRINKS THAT ARE EXPIRED, RATS THROUGHOUT THE STORE, <br />STORE HAS BAD SMELL AND IS VERY DIRTY. PLEASE SEND INSPECTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint investigation: Complainant alleges that facility is selling expired prepackaged food and drinks, has rodents, has a <br />bad smell, and is dirty. <br />Facility has less than 25 square feet of food items and is not required to have a health permit. Employee was unaware of the <br />complaint and has granted access for inspection of the facility. Facility only has one upright beverage cooler and one box of <br />beverages beside it. Did not see any live rodents in the retail area of facility. Unable to verify complaint. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
