COMPLAINANT BELIEVES THAT IT IS POSSIBLY RELATED TO GARBAGE BINS FROM <br />NEIGHBORING RESTAURANT AND GROCERY STORE. COMPLAINANT STATES THE MAGGOTS CRAWL THROUGH <br />THE WALL AND THEY FALL INTO CLINIC/PATIENT ROOMS THROUGH VENTS AND ELECTRICAL OUTLETS WHICH <br />IS AN INFECTION CONTROL CONCERN. COMPLAINANT STATES ALL AREAS INCLUDING GROCERY/RESTAURANT <br />HAS MAGGOT INFESTATIONS AS WELL. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />I went to facility and spoke with the managers of all food facilities. All were unaware of the complaint. <br />The manager from Valley Food Market stated that area is maintained clean and that the dumpster is dumped 2 times a week. <br />Per manager trash is kept in closed bags and trash bins are kept closed. <br />Spoke with managers from Yume Japanese Cuisine, Thai Spices, and Jade Fountain Chinese (person in charge to relay <br />message to manager) and discussed reason of site visit. Per managers trash is kept in closed bags and trash bins are kept <br />closed and locked. Discussed with managers to keep trash bags closed and trash bins secured. <br />Observed trash bins in both areas to be closed. <br />Did not observe "maggot and fly infestation". <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
