All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate <br />closure of the food facility. <br />#5 Hands Clean/Properly Washed/Proper Glove Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: The restroom hand sink lacked a paper towel dispenser and warm water. Provide a complete hand washing <br />station, with hot and cold water supplies, wall mounted fully enclosed single service hand towel dispenser, and a wall mounted <br />liquid or powder hand soap dispenser. Warm water shall be a minimum of 100 F. Correct prior to permit issuance. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Employees are required to wash their hands: before beginning work before handling food / equipment / <br />utensils as often as necessary, during food preparation, to remove soil and contamination when switching from working with raw to <br />ready to eat foods, after touching body parts after using toilet room or any time when contamination may occur. (113952, 113953.3, <br />113953.4, 113961, 113968, 113973 (b-f)) <br />#21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: Unable to determine if facility has a hot water heater. A hot water heater of a minimum of 10 gallons is <br />required. Hot water shall be supplied at a minimum temperature of at least 120°F measured from the faucet. Correct prior to <br />permit issuance. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all <br />times. (113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br />#22 Disposal of Sewage/Wastewater <br />OBSERVATIONS: The facility lacked a mop sink. At least one curbed cleaning facility or janitor sink equipped with a drain shall <br />be provided and conveniently located for the cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for the disposal of mop <br />water and similar liquid waste. Correct prior to permit issuance. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All liquid waste must drain to an approved fully functioning sewage disposal system. (114197) <br />Minor#30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Food shelves have not been brought in yet. Provide durable shelving which holds foods a minimum of six (6) <br />inches above the floor with finishes that are nonabsorbent, smooth and cleanable. Correct prior to operation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving.
