SB 1383 Quarterly Measurement Protocol Planning <br />10 Consecutive Operating Days <br />Organic Waste Streams(OCC, Mixed Paper, GW, FW, Wood, Other) - measuring the amount of incompatible material in organics recovered <br />Disposal - measureing the amount of organic material in disposal <br />Samples must be at least 200 lbs, random and representative - select at different time of day each day, and from different part of pile <br />Estimated time to complete one sample is 2 hours <br />Training - to be completed or reviewed each quarter <br />Participants - will vary by location <br />Audit Lead Will coordinate the collection of the sample, sort sample, weigh materials, gather data <br />Ops Specialist Assist is providing total processed and/or total tons sent out of facility <br />Loader Operator Assist in gathering and delivering sample material to sort area <br />Forklift Operator Assist in gathering and delivering sample material to sort area <br />Ops Supervisor Manage the daily activities to support gathering of samples and measurement data <br />District Manager Direct operations and responsible to plan, organize and provide equipment and resources to complete quarterly audits, keep records of training and data <br />Equipment <br />PPE - standard PPE, and puncture resistent gloves <br />96 Gallon or other large receptacle to gather samples <br />Recycling bins or other smaller container to gather and weigh sorted material <br />Sort table - Optional <br />3 yd container for discarded samples <br />Broom, Dustpan for clean-up <br />Shovel, Rake, Handtools for sorting <br />Binder/Pens or Pencil/Sharpie or Grease Pen <br />Schedule(Date and AM/PM or planned time of day for each) <br />Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7 Day 8 Day 9 Day 10 <br />Enter Dates <br />Sample Y/N? <br />OCC y <br />Mixed Paper y <br />Green Waste y <br />Food Waste y <br />Wood Waste <br />Other <br />Disposal
