COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: ANGELINAS Date: 09/18/2025 <br />Address: 1563 E FREMONT , STOCKTON 95205 <br />Owner/Operator: CAPELLO, STEVE Telephone: (209) 948-6609 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO2500571 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT STATES ON 08/31 THEY WENT TO THE FACILITY AND ORDERED A COUPLE OF WHITE RUSSIAN <br />COCKTAILS, A RIBEYE PLATTER WITH PASTA AND THE SALAD BAR. COMPLAINANT STATES APPROXIMATELY 30 <br />MINS LATER THEY BEGAN THROWING UP AND CONTINUED FEELING SICK FOR THE FOLLOWING 3 DAYS. <br />COMPLAINANT STATES THAT ON 09/03 THEY WENT TO THE ER AND TESTED POSITIVE FOR SEPSIS ANG 1-2 DAYS <br />LATER THEY WERE DIAGNOSED POSITIVE FOR CAMPYLOBACTER. COMPLAINANT WAS RELEASED FROM THE <br />HOSPITAL ON 09/07. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; 113700. <br />All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and have the <br />potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. <br /> #14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: The sanitizing solution bucket was observed with less than 200 Parts Per Million (PPM) quats. Ensure the <br />bucket has sanitizing solution at 200 - 400 (PPM) quats for proper sanitizing of food preparation and contact surfaces. Use a <br />test strip to ensure proper sanitizer concentration levels. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized. Discussed the complaint with the manager who stated they were unaware of the alleged <br />complaint. There have not been any ill employees around the time of the complaint to the present, per the manager. Inspected the <br />bar, kitchen, salad bar, dry and cold storage.
