Remedial Investigation QAPP
Stockton Army Aviation Support Facility,California
'relevant compounds' for this RI project remains eight compounds. The RI SLs and risk assessment approach
will be adjusted at the time of the investigation to reflect updated relevant compounds and RSLs, if DoD guidance
warrants such adjustments.
1.0.2 RI Purpose
The objective of the RI is to determine the nature and extent of contamination of relevant compounds greater
than SLs associated with the AOIs identified in the PA and the SI, where the presence of relevant compounds
was confirmed during the SI.
During the RI, detailed information will be collected to characterize site conditions, determine the nature and
extent of the contamination, and evaluate risks to human health and the environment posed by the site
conditions by conducting a baseline ecological and human health risk assessment.
1.0.3 QAPP Document Organization
Elements of every PFAS RI under this contract are addressed in the RI Programmatic UFP-QAPP (PQAPP)
(Parsons, 2023). The PQAPP is comprehensive and is consistent with the USEPA's intent that the UFP-QAPP be
the primary planning document for an entire project(Intergovernmental Data Quality Task Force[IDQTF],2005a-
c, 2012). This QAPP Addendum, in combination with the PQAPP elements, meets the requirements set forth in
the UFP for QAPPs (IDQTF, 2005a-c) and USEPA Requirements for Quality Assurance Project Plans (USEPA,
2001).
This QAPP Addendum was prepared to include the detailed information specific to the RI at Stockton AASF. For
ease of review, material from the PQAPP is included in this deliverable alongside the Stockton-specific
worksheets.Table 1-1 below describes the components that are covered under the PQAPP and those that are
covered under this UFP-QAPP Addendum.
Table 1-1 Components of the RI QAPP
Facility-Specific QAPP Worksheets Applicable Document
Worksheets#1 -Title and Approval Page and QAPP Identifying Programmatic/Site-Specific
Information
Worksheets#3 - Project Organization and QAPP Distribution Programmatic/Site-Specific
Worksheets#4, #7, - Personnel Qualifications and Sign-off
Programmatic/Site-Specific
Sheet
Worksheet#6 - Communication Pathways Programmatic/Site-Specific
Worksheet#9 -Technical Project Planning Session Summary Site-Specific
L Worksheet#10 - Conceptual Site Model Site-Specific
Worksheet#11 - Project/Data Quality Objectives Site-Specific
Worksheet#12 - Measurement Performance Criteria Programmatic
Worksheet#13 - Secondary Data Uses and Limitations Programmatic
Worksheets#14 - Project Tasks and Schedule -777 Site-Specific
PARSONS 1.0 Introduction
Page xiii
