Remedial Investigation QAPP
Stockton Army Aviation Support Facility,California
WORKSHEET #14 & 16: PROJECT TASKS AND
SCHEDULE
Worksheets#14& 16 provide the project schedule and detail the general project tasks that are expected to be
completed as part of the RI.The RI program will include tasks as detailed in the following sections:
Section 14.1 - Mobilization.
Section 14.2 - Field Investigation Activities.
Section 14.3 - Laboratory Analysis.
Section 14.4 - Data Management, Review,and Validation.
Section 14.5 - Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment.
Section 14.6 - Report Preparation.
The RI field activities for Stockton AASF will consist of multiple mobilizations. During Mobilization 1,soil samples
will be collected for PFAS from multiple depth intervals within the vadose zone within suspected potential release
areas. Additionally, VAP will be utilized to determine nature and extent of PFAS in groundwater and to provide
additional information on the geology and hydrogeology of the aquifer underlying the Facility.Shallow monitoring
wells will be installed across the Facility and sampled to confirm VAP results.Soil(or surface water and sediment
if water and ecological habitat are found) samples will be collected from locations along the adjacent Rydberg
Creek. RI Mobilization 2 will be conducted at a yet to be determined date to address data gaps from the RI
Mobilization 1, install additional permanent groundwater monitoring wells, and perform any additional sampling
required for completion of the risk assessment.
This RI QAPP specifically addresses the activities to be performed during the RI Mobilization 1. The specific
details and rationale for the environmental sampling design, in addition to sampling locations and methods, are
presented in Worksheets#17 . Field activities will be completed per the Parsons SOPs in Appendix D.The
schedule for the RI is presented below in Table 14-1.
Table 14-1 RI Schedule
RI QAPP July 2023 July 2024
Pre-Mobilization (Mobilization 1) May 2024 July 2024
Mobilization (Mobilization 1) July 2024 July 2024
Field Work(Mobilization 1) August 2024 September 2024
Demobilization (Mobilization 1) September 2024 September 2024
Data Review/Validation (Mobilization 1) October 2024 November 2024
Data Analysis/Modeling(Mobilization 1) November 2024 December 2024
Pre-Mobilization (Mobilization 2) TBD TBD
Field Work(Mobilization 2) TBD TBD
Demobilization (Mobilization 2) TBD TBD
Data Review/Validation (Mobilization 2) TBD TBD
PARSONS Worksheet#14&16: Project Tasks and Schedule
Page 60
