ekienvironment
& water
3 GROUNDWATER MONITORING RESULTS
Groundwater levels were measured in monitoring wells to assess changes in groundwater
gradient magnitudes and directions, and analytical results from well water samples were used to
assess changes in shallow groundwater chemical composition. The following activities occurred
during the 2023 Spring monitoring period (January 2023—June 2023)6,7:
• Recycled water was discharged for irrigation of public landscaping in Mossdale and CLSP
every month during the Spring monitoring period 2023 (i.e. January through June).
• Recycled water was discharged to the PB-1 percolation basin every month during the
Spring monitoring period 2023 (i.e. January through June).
• Recycled water was used for construction activities January, April, and May 2023.
• Recycled water was discharged to LAA 28 in April 2023 and to LAA 35 in May and June
2023.
• No recycled water was discharged to LAA 23, LAA 30, LAA 31, LAA 34, or LAA 36 during
the 2023 Spring monitoring period.
3.1 Groundwater Elevations, Flow Directions, and Hydraulic Gradients
Groundwater elevation data from current water level compliance wells for the 2023 Spring (i.e.
First Semiannual) monitoring event are shown in Table 3. All other groundwater elevation data
are reported in Appendix B.
6 City of Lathrop Consolidated Treatment Facility quarterly Self-Monitoring Reports.
'Greg Gibson,City of Lathrop,written communication, 12 July 2022.
City of Lathrop 5 13 July 2023
EKI B90088.03
