On behalf of the Stockton Terminal&Eastern (STE) Railroad, please find the two attached (.pdf) return to compliance certifications. As documented in the certifications, in the past 30 days the STE has completed the following: 1. Performed and documented an accurate hazardous materials inventory, 2. Closed and labeled all hazardous material containers, 3. Worked with a licensed vendor(American Velley Waste Oil)to remove, recycle, or dispose of oil and antifreeze wastes and used oil filters, 4. Performed and documented the annual emergency response training(all STE associates), 5. Revised the STE locomotive shop site map, 6. Completed the enclosed DTSC form#1262, and 7. Electronically reported and certified in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)the updated STE business plan, hazardous materials inventory, and site map. In addition, STE is currently working with licensed waste haulers and permitted disposal facilities to remove and dispose of used cross ties. Plans include the use of 30-yard roll off bins to contain and transport the used ties to the permitted landfill facilities. Used tie transportation and disposal will be documented and records will be maintained by STE and will be made available to SJEHD upon request.
