The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for 209 NAILS LOUNGE as of April 22, 2026. <br /> Open violations from October 26, 2023 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#106-Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Per owner Danny Tran,the facility has not had any <br /> hazardous waste training. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#110-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years 10/26/2020-10/26/2023 for all <br /> hazardous waste including contaminated cotton balls/rags. Provide these records and a corrective action statement <br /> to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
