Facility <br />Zarc Recycling, LLC <br />ConformanceWare Edition <br />Electronics Edition - v4.5 <br />Serial <br />ZRL-05052021-00164 <br />Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System <br />communicated to all staff. <br />Zarc Recycling, LLC complies with all anti-discrimination laws, including [Title <br />VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and <br />Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA.)] <br />The Zarc Recycling, LLC Child, Forced Labor and Prison Labor Policy: <br />Zarc Recycling, LLCdoes not, and will not use child labor, as defined by the <br />International Labor Organization (ILO) or forced labor, where the worker <br />cannot leave or terminate employment freely. <br />Child Labor: Work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential, and <br />their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development. <br />Forced Labor: Work or service which is exacted from any person under the <br />threat of a penalty and for which the person has not offered himself or herself <br />voluntarily”. <br />Prisoner labor is only acceptable and will only be used if it is voluntary, <br />compensated beyond room and board, and skills are taught for gainful <br />employment after release. <br />Zarc Recycling, LLC will, to the extent possible, ensure that all suppliers, <br />contractors, and down-stream vendors adhere to this policy. <br />The Zarc Recycling, LLC Hierarchy of Responsible Management <br />Strategies Policy: <br />Zarc Recycling, LLC manages used and end-of-life electronic equipment, <br />components, and materials – with respect to off-site and on-site activities, as <br />well as the selection of downstream vendors – that is based on a hierarchy of <br />responsible management strategies. <br />Zarc Recycling, LLC evaluates and sorts, equipment, components, and materials <br />in accordance with the R2 policy and Core Requirement 6, and take all practical <br />steps to direct items for processing in the following order of preference: <br />Reuse – For all equipment and components capable of reuse, Zarc Recycling, <br />LLC directs the items to a Reuse process meeting the requirements of the R2 <br />Standard. However, equipment and components that are not legal to sell such <br />as lost/stolen, counterfeit, or recalled equipment are not reused and instead <br />are directed to Materials Recovery. <br />Materials Recovery –Equipment and components not capable of reuse, Zarc <br />Page 8 of 21
