HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> Geosyntec has prepared a task hazard analysis(THA) for the investigation scope of work, attached <br /> to this Work Plan. Prior to the start of field activities each day, Geosyntec will conduct a safety <br /> tailgate meeting that includes a discussion of work to be performed each day, safe work practices, <br /> identification of potential hazards, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency <br /> response protocols. <br /> 4. INVESTIGATION-DERIVED WASTE <br /> Investigation-derived waste (IDW) will be stored in California Department of Transportation <br /> (DOT) approved 55-gallon drums, properly labeled, and in a designated area at the Site pending <br /> waste characterization and disposal at an appropriate off-site disposal facility. Hazardous waste <br /> generated on-site will be handled under USEPA identification number CAL000041551. <br /> engineers I scientists I innovators <br />
