California St., Stockton, CA
Geotracker Global ID T0607700523 (Figure 1)
Dear Ms. Fischer:
We have prepared this report on behalf of Stallworth Auto Sales to present the results of our
shallow soil and soil vapor testing.
Ground Zero prepared the Additional Investigation Workplan dated December 27, 2023.
The workplan was approved with conditions by your office in a letter dated February 8,
2024. As per the letter, two (2) temporary soil vapor monitoring points were installed at
the locations shown on Figures 2 and 3. In addition a third soil boring was also installed to
collect soil samples from the depths of five and ten feet.
The vapor sampling locations were intended to address the potential vapor intrusion risk to
the existing building, in the vicinity of the groundwater contaminant plume core, as per the
criteria in the SWRCB Low Threat Underground Storage Tank Case Closure Policy
(LTCP).
The soil boring was intended to address potential direct contact risk per the LTCP.
Protocols,Pre-field Work and Permitting Activities
Fieldwork was conducted in accordance with Ground Zero's Quality Assurance/Quality
Control Plan and Health & Safety Plan. Underground utilities were checked by clearly
marking the proposed boring locations in white paint and calling in the location for a
clearance ticket by Underground Services Alert(USA).
A drilling permit was issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(SJEHD). A copy of the permit is included as Attachment A.
Soil Vapor Assessment Report
