The WPCF is <br /> regulated under Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) R5-2007-0113-01 and <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program R5-2013-0126 Rev 1 (MRP). <br /> The Work Plan proposes destruction of seven monitoring wells (WSM-2, WSM-10, <br /> WSM-11, WSM-13, WSM-19, RMW-2 and RMW-3), which were removed from the <br /> revised MRP R5-2013-0126 Rev 1 issued on 10 December 2024. In a letter dated 10 <br /> December 2024, Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board staff approved <br /> the request to abandon the seven monitoring wells. The Monitoring Well Destruction <br /> Workplan contained an acceptable plan for the destruction and abandonment of the <br /> seven monitoring wells and is hereby approved. Well sealing and grouting procedures <br /> must follow San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department standards and <br /> guidelines. <br /> A Monitoring Well Destruction Completion Report shall be submitted within 90 days <br /> after completing the well destruction work.
